Jeweled Heart Necklace on Pink Cord

This necklace is pretty off beat. It is a 1.75” wide Sterling sheet heart surrounded with hammered bead wire with a faceted Aquamarine, a pink Tourmaline chip and a faceted Strawberry Quartz. It hangs on a bale of the same materials with a wide pink rosecut Tourmaline that is a bit larger than .5”. All the Sterling, including the handmade hook and eye closure are brushed finished and hang on 16” of pink “silk”cord. I’ve treated it with a little scotch guard to protect the threads from makeup and body oils. I always test drive my pieces for comfort and durability and when I wore this one to a museum show in NYC, it got so much attention that I probably could have sold it right off my neck. It’s got a “girls just wanna have fun” vibe.
