Fordite Necklace with Gears

I looked to vintage car hood ornaments for inspiration for this one. The nearly 1.5” long oval cabochon is set in toothed wire and surrounded on one side by a hood ornament inspired design. At one end there is a small Garnet cab set in a Fine silver gear. The 18” Sterling Ball chain is threaded through another gear with a Garnet cab that sits inside the bale. I love the way the center of this Fordite cab is all squiggly and not quite as concentric as some of the others.
