Petrified Peanut Wood Ring

This 1.25” long cabochon is set in Sterling silver on a ring that is about 1” wide and stamped with a scalloped pattern that coordinates with the bezel. Hand forged little paisleys adorn the top and bottom of the cabochon. Petrified Peanut Wood was new to me when I came upon it and it blows my mind a little bit. Sometimes it looks playful like polka dots but when you look again you can see the crazy things that nature can do. This stone is a really warm and true brown and cream.
